xced-8a.3.93-darwin.pkg.sit (tested on
MacOSX ver.10.2.3, Darwin Kernel ver.6.3, 2003/05/06)
This package consists of a main program (/usr/local/bin/xced) and
some subprograms installed into /usr/local/share/xced.
A modified version
of the protml
(Adachi and Hasegawa 1996) program is included.
It requires:

X11 for Mac OS X (Mac OS X Install Disc 1 -> Optional Installs -> Applications -> X11)
The following are not necessary but may be useful.

Installation

Install X11UserForMacOSX.dmg.bin and xced-8a.3.93-darwin.pkg.

Usage
|
|

Start X11 by opening a new Finder window, clicking the "Applications"
icon, then doubleclicking the "X11" icon.

Open a terminal window (Finder/Applications/Utilities/Terminal or
X11menu/Applications/Terminal).

Set the DISPLAY environment variable, if necessary.
% setenv DISPLAY :0.0

Start xced.
% /usr/local/bin/xced input_file
